Q. How much do you require for a deposit/retainer?

A. $100.00 is what we require to hold the date. The balance is due seven (7) days before the event for payments made by credit card* or check.

Q. Why do you want the balance seven (7) days before the event?

A. This policy only applies to payments being made by credit card* or check (to allow time for processing). Cash payments can be made at the event prior to the performance of the deejay. If you have any additional questions or if special arrangements need to be made please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q. What type of music will you be playing at our event?

A. The music we play is based upon the age of the crowd and on our own professional judgment. Remember your event isn't the first one we've done! We know what gets people out on the dance floor. Of course we play any requests that you or your guests may have; also any specialty dances for the bridal party are left up to you. We also strive to work with you every step of the way; we will of course not play anything that you do not want us to play. With that being said, we will also make sure that we have precisely the music that you want played at your event. Customer service is our number one priority!

Q. Will my deejay have the most current hit singles?

A. Yes! We subscribe to a service made exclusively for Mobile Deejay Entertainers. Each month we receive the hot new singles (Clean Radio Edits) usually before they are released to the public, therefore our music library is always up to date. This includes hits from the Adult Contemporary, Rock, Urban, Country, and Dance charts! If a song was ever in the Top 40 chances are we've got it!

Q. Will I have to sign a contract when booking with A Musical Memory?

A. Yes, it is always best to sign a contract to protect yourself when booking a date, to see a copy of the contract click here.

Q. What type of attire will the DJ be wearing?

A. It really depends on the event, for a wedding reception we dress formal (tuxedo), for any other event we dress to fit in. You can tell us how you want us to dress.

Q. What time will the DJ arrive for setup?

A. One (1) hour is usually more than enough time for us to setup our equipment. If you need an earlier setup where we will need to make two (2) trips, arrangements can be made for an extra fee.

Q. Do you provide back-up equipment?

A. Yes we do, we carry a replacement for each piece of sound equipment, everything from extra speakers right down to cables and extension cords, no worries!
